The sPark is designed purely for 24” wheels. Plenty of companies were offering frames that worked with both 24” + 26”, but no serious riders wanted the 26” option. The trouble with handling both you have a compromise that means neither wheel size rides as well as it could.
24” is a better size for this kind of riding no doubt. Big wheels on a small frame look like crap – like some trials bike or something, and that’s not what we’re about.
Coming from a BMX/MTB crossover, our MTBMX takes all that’s good about MTB’s and fuses them with the best of BMX technology.
Frame is oversized double butted 4130 throughout, we have a standard bykes style wraparound gusset, ring reinforced headtube to prevent flaring, gyro tabs as standard, disc mounts and v-brake mounts, 6mm laser cut dropouts with 14mm slots (mtb spaced for more lateral strength). Designed for a short travel fork (100mm max) we have a sensible topube length - 21.75” so you don’t clip your foot on x-ups and barspins and the BB is set low at a shade under 12” so the bike rides stable as fuck and manuals like a peach. High BB’s make you feel like you’re sitting “on” the bike, lower BB’s make you feel part of the bike, and there’s still coping clearance with a 36t ring.
